Terms of Use

Article 1 (Definition)

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") stipulate the terms and conditions for the use of "KODAWARI EXPERIENCE" (hereinafter referred to as "this Site"). This Site is planned and operated by Yamaguchi Asahi Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Planning and Operating Company"), and Japan Adventures Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Travel Company") is responsible for the solicitation, implementation, and contracting of tours.

 

"Customer" refers to any individual, corporation, or organization that has agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Agreement") and uses, browses, or registers for this Service.

 

Article 2 (Service Content)

This Site provides information and accepts reservations for special programs where customers can experience Japanese culture and the appeal of local areas. The Planning and Operating Company plans the experience programs and operates this Site, while the Travel Company is responsible for the solicitation, implementation, and contracting related to the tours.

The Company (referring to both the Planning and Operating Company and the Travel Company) may send information regarding the Service to customers via email or other means.

Article 3 (Changes to the Terms of Use)

This Site may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms shall become effective when posted on this Site.

Article 4 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All content posted on this Site (including but not limited to text, images, videos, programs, etc.) is protected by copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, design rights, and other intellectual property rights belonging to the Planning and Operating Company or third parties who hold legitimate rights. Users are prohibited from unauthorized reproduction, reprinting, modification, distribution, public transmission, or any other use of this content.

 

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

In using this Service, customers must not engage in any of the following acts or any acts that may lead to them. If such acts are confirmed, the Company may take measures such as suspension of use, account deletion, termination of contract, or claims for damages without prior notice.

Violation of Laws and Contracts Acts that violate domestic or international laws, ordinances, public order and morals, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy.

Unauthorized Activities

Registering false or another person's information.

Using this Service for fraudulent purposes.

Interfering with the operation of this Service.

Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the servers or networks of this Service.

Engaging in acts that place an excessive load on or otherwise hinder the stable operation of this Service.

Infringement of Rights and Annoying Conduct

Infringing on the copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, design rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation, credit, property rights, or other rights of the Planning and Operating Company, the Travel Company, other users, or third parties.

Defaming, making discriminatory remarks against, threatening, harassing, impersonating, sending spam, or engaging in other similar annoying conduct towards other users, the Planning and Operating Company, the Travel Company, or third parties.

Posting, displaying, or transmitting obscene, violent, or offensive information.

Harmful Programs Transmitting or distributing harmful programs such as computer viruses, malware, or spyware.

Inappropriate Transactions and Disclosure of Information Engaging in unauthorized transactions, business activities, or solicitations through this Service without the permission of the Planning and Operating Company or the Travel Company. Disclosing or providing information obtained through this Service to third parties.

Other Any other acts that the Planning and Operating Company or the Travel Company deems inappropriate based on reasonable grounds, even if not specifically listed in the preceding items.

 

Article 6 (Handling of Personal Information)

Personal information obtained from customers will be handled appropriately in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Planning and Operating Company. Please refer to the Privacy Policy posted on this Site.

 

Article 7 (Use of Registered Information)

Customer's registered information will be used within the scope of the following purposes:

 

To verify identity and provide this Service.

To provide information regarding affiliated experience programs.

To operate, maintain, and improve this Service.

To conduct and manage campaigns, surveys, etc.

To respond to customer inquiries and provide important notices.

To ensure the safe operation of this Service.

For purposes incidental to the above.

Please note that if there is an error in your registered information, you may not be able to use some services.

 

Customer's personal information may be jointly used by the Planning and Operating Company, the Travel Company, and affiliated businesses to the extent necessary for the provision of the Service within the scope of the above purposes. In such cases, the personal information will be jointly managed appropriately.

Article 8 (Links to External Sites)

Where links to third-party websites are provided from this Site, these websites are managed under the responsibility of their respective operators and are not under our control. The Company shall not be responsible for the content, safety, or any damages resulting from the use of these linked websites.

 

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Planning and Operating Company and the Travel Company do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or usefulness of the information posted on this Site.

The Planning and Operating Company and the Travel Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by customers as a result of using or being unable to use this Site, or for any troubles or damages arising from actions taken by customers through this Site.

 

Article 10 (Changes, Suspension, or Termination of Service)

The Planning and Operating Company may change, suspend, or terminate the content of this Service without prior notice. The Planning and Operating Company and the Travel Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by customers as a result of such changes, suspension, or termination.

Article 11 (Inquiries)

Inquiries regarding this Site should be made using the designated form or method on this Site. Our response hours for inquiries are from 10:00 to 18:00 (Japan Standard Time) on weekdays. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and other holidays designated by the Planning and Operating Company. Inquiries received outside of business hours will be handled sequentially from the next business day.

 

Article 12 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)

The Customer represents and warrants that they do not currently, and will not in the future, fall under any of the following categories: organized crime groups, members of organized crime groups, associate members of organized crime groups, companies affiliated with organized crime groups, racketeers engaging in extortion, groups engaging in criminal activities under the guise of social or political movements, special intelligence criminal groups, or any other similar persons or entities (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Anti-Social Forces"), and that they have no relationship with Anti-Social Forces. If the Customer violates this representation and warranty, the Company may immediately terminate this Agreement and suspend the Customer's use of the Service without prior notice.
